For Commercial Use

We recommend Citavi Team for our business customers. Citavi Team can be paired with Citavi Reader depending on your company’s needs. Both editions are sold as non-expiring licenses.

For Education, Gov't, and Non-Profit

We offer special pricing for

 Institutions of higher education
 Schools
 Government agencies
 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
 Registered non-profit organizations

We recommend Citavi Pro for individual users and Citavi Team for workgroups. Both editions are sold as non-expiring licenses.

For colleges and universities, site licenses offer the best value. If you are interested in acquiring a site license for your campus community, we'd be, happy to advise you.

For Personal and Student Use

We offer special pricing for Citavi Pro for

Persons using Citavi exclusively for personal uses
 Students

Students can first check if they are entitled to use Citavi at no cost under a site license. With a little bit of luck, you could also win a copy of Citavi Pro.

Site Licenses

We offer site licenses for colleges and universities. Site Licenses are rentals and entitle the entire college or university community — students, faculty, and staff — to use Citavi Team. Users can install and use Citavi on two computers (for example, an office and a home computer) for the duration of the contract. License keys are easy to request and updates and upgrades are provided at no charge for the duration of the contract.

We're Happy to Advise You

The contract must be signed with one department (e.g. the library or technology services department) and must last at least one year. Discounts apply to longer contracts. We recommend Citavi Team for new customers and only offer Citavi Pro in exceptional cases (What's the difference?).

Site Licenses are Affordable

We can do this because we run a tight ship and don't spend money on advertising and promotion.

There is no Administrative Burden for You

We offer the program on our server, we send license keys, and we provide support. Site licenses include one free online training seminar for “ambassadors”, and we also provide templates for promotional and training materials you can print.

Citavi is the Market Leader in Germany

Most universities in the German-speaking world have site licenses, as does the prestigious Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft research organization. A list of our site license customers can be found here.
