If you have a list of books containing ISBN numbers, you can easily add all of the referenced books to Citavi, regardless of whether the list is a webpage, a text file or a spreadsheet. See also:  Adding a book by ISBN with the Citavi Picker

Select the list of ISBNs and copy it to the Clipboard.

In Citavi, click Retrieve by ISBN.

Click Text from Clipboard and then click Paste from Clipboard.

Citavi filters out the ISBN numbers and performs the search. If you do not receive enough results, click Cancel and choose → another catalog for ISBN searches .

A green check mark means that the book was found, a grey zero means that no books were found, a blue i means that the reference is already in your project. Click Add to project.

Citavi automatically applies the search results as a selection. Click Cancel or Cancel selection in order to see all of your references. → More Slideshows for Citavi 3
