Google Scholar is one of the databases that works with the Picker, as long as you first set it to allow you to download bibliographic information.
(Other databases such as
→ PubMed, do not require this extra step).
Click
Scholar Preferences.
Under Bibliography Manager, select the Show links to import citations into checkbox and choose EndNote from the drop-down menu.
Click Save Preferences.
The Picker now recognizes the bibliograhic information and can import it into Citavi.
Click Click here to import the references.
You can now clear the checkboxes for the references you do not want to import.
However, we recommend first importing all the references into Citavi, evaluating them, and then deleting the ones you do not want to keep.
Click Import.
The Picker sends the information to Citavi.
Citavi applies the imported references as a selection.
Click
Cancel or click
Cancel selection,
to see all of your references.
(Note: Google Scholar only provides initials for first names and book references lack the place of publication and series titles).
