Update to Citavi 6.5 Now Available
Citavi 6.5 is now available. The latest update to Citavi 6 includes new features and bug fixes.
New features include:
- The Citavi Picker can now be used in Microsoft Edge.
- EndNote Traveling Library references can now be imported.
- It’s now possible to use the "Find full text feature" to search for ebooks with DOI names.
- You can now leave a cloud project you were invited to join.
As always, each update also includes bug fixes for issues reported by Citavi users.

A new Citavi 6 beta version is now available for testing.
Bug fix:
In the Citavi Word Add-In on the "Knowledge" tab, green checkmarks did not appear next to cited knowledge items if the user was working with a copy of the project instead of the original version.

Please note: If Citavi doesn't start after the installation of the beta version, you may have an older version of the .NET Framework. These versions (.NET Framework 4.6.1 or previous) are faulty and should be updated. Please check for Windows Updates to get the newest version of the .NET Framework. Alternatively, you can uninstall the current beta version and re-install Citavi 6.4.0.35.

Update to Citavi 6.4 Now Available
The latest update to Citavi 6 is available for downloading. Citavi 6.4 has many improvements behind the scenes to make working with Citavi even smoother.
New features include:
- New Pickers for Firefox and Chrome. This video shows you how they work.
- In the Citavi Word Add-In you now can create a bibliography for each chapter. If you want, you can create an additional bibliography for the whole document, too. This video shows how.
- Citavi can now also search the full-text of all ePub files that were uploaded to a cloud project as an attachment.
- Citavi now uses Ably instead of Signal-R for communication between Citavi clients and the Citavi cloud.
- …and many other small improvements.
As always, each update also includes bug fixes for issues reported by Citavi users.
